On behalf of James parents, John & Deirdre, this is a message for Kelli, Lisa, James, and all Don's family.  It was a pleasure to have met Don.  In memory of Don's deep honor, integrity, and dignity, a few lines from when Walt Whitman wrote an elegy on the death of Abraham Lincoln called, 'When lilacs last in the dooryard bloomed', came to mind.  The final verse is 'Comrades mine and I in the midst, and their memory ever to keep for the dead I loved so well // For the sweetest, wisest soul of all my days and lands and this for his dear sake // Lilac and star and bird twined with the chant of my soul // There in the fragrant pines and the cedars dusk and dim.  Our sincere sympathy to you all.  Love mum & dad
